Louisville City FC goalkeeper, Chris Hubbard, was voted Dr. Mark Lynn and Associates Visionworks Man of the Match after a six save performance that earned him 70 percent of the vote during Louisville City's game vs. Loudoun United on Sunday.
“It’s nice to get the recognition I guess but, at the same time I would rather have nothing to do and us get the win," Hubbard said after receiving the Man of the Match honor. “The man of the match is nice, but I’d much rather get three points and be in the background.”
Hubbard continues to be a bright spot for LouCity. Through the seven games Hubbard has appeared in, he has an impressive 78.6 percent save success rate.
LouCity is getting set for another away game against Charlotte Independence. Kickoff is set for Saturday at 7:00 P.M.
